Atala, Vitala, Sutala Meditation
Introduction

This meditation deals with releasing and letting go of bad energy and anxiety usually stored in around our base chakra. Atala is a lower chakra located in the hips that are aligned with fear, lust, and promiscuity. The opposing attributes are overt and unctuous. Vitala is located in the inner thighs and aligns with anger and burning resentment. Its balanced aspect is forgiveness. Finally, Sutala is located in the knees and governs jealousy. Its counterpart is self-confidence.

The purpose and goal of this meditation are to align all these energy points to release, expand, and retain the energy necessary to achieve a peaceful outcome while connecting with the Solar Chakra. It is through this dialogue that anxiety, stress, and negative emotions are released and new energy is replaced to support stressful situations.

This meditation is recommended when feeling anxious, upset, jealous, resentful, or ashamed of your own sexuality
Note: This meditation was provided to us by Evan (one of our many guides) through our brother Guardian Wolf.

Meditation steps

Step 1: In a sitting position with a straight back and bare feet on the ground, begin with a couple of breathing repetitions.

Step 2. Begin on an exhale, lean forward with hands touching the sides of your hips.

Step 3. Move both hands all the way to knees around the outer knee cap and inhale, sliding hands back up on the insides of your thighs, then stop.

Step 4. On the exhale with the hand movement, begin the mantra to call on Mother Earth (Naamah). As the hands go from hips to knees, say in a breathy whisper Naaaaa. On the inhale with hands going back up on the inner thighs to hips, say maaaah in a breathy whisper. So you are then calling Mother Earth Namaah to take those negative components and replace them with positive components.

Step 5. Exhale with no hand movement nor leaning forward but gently push energy from the solar plexus down to the root chakra.
Step 6. Breathe back in and feel the energy from the root chakra rise to the solar plexus.
Step 7. Repeat from step 2 through step 6 in 6 complete cycles. In summary, one cycle includes: 1. hands down on the outside of thighs, 2. hands on the inside of the thighs, and 3. exhale and inhale with no hand movement.
Step 8. Record any observations.
